Intro to Spanish

Intro to Spanish will teach children the basics of Spanish including, the alphabet, colors, numbers, expressions and more!

Program will include:

I-Spy Sight Words

I-Spy camp makes maintaining a child’s academic skills in reading, writing and math fun and exciting. The children will take part in games and active learning while at the same time supporting their academics from the prior school year while enhancing their skills to be prepared for the upcoming school year.

Programs included but not limited to:

  • Fluency and Fitness

  • Phonemic Awareness

  • Handwriting Without Tears

  • Manipulative Math

  • Sight Word Games

Kids Kamp

Kids will learn and participate in activities related to camping. Activities include all about the outdoors, fishing 🎣 , whittling the perfect s’more stick, making their very own hiking cane, learning about nature, animal tracks and types of animal calls.

  • Children will do make-and-take projects, listen to stories about legends who lived in the woods and enjoy a snack!

  • Learning through play & fun with Charise Baker, Early Childhood Educator.

Art Camp

Art camp will Help Children explore a variety of mediums including painting drawing and crafting!

Art projects may include:

  • Intro to watercolor techniques

  • Sensory crafting

  • Learning about self-portraits

  • Learning about famous artists

  • Sculpting and modeling

EPIC Summer Playgroup Series

Supported playgroups are playgroups run by a qualified facilitator in early childhood education and development. This type of playgroup promotes the development of children’s skills and support the wellbeing of both parents and children.

The role of the facilitator in supported playgroups includes:

  • Stimulating children's development through quality early-childhood experiences

  • Increasing parental knowledge related to child development, early childhood learning and positive guidance skills

  • Facilitating social networks

  • Providing access to information and resources

  • Providing opportunities for the identification and promotion of developmental milestones and referral to appropriate services

*Parent or caregiver attended.
